Can I convert any YouTube video?
Videos need accessible captions. Private, restricted, and caption-free videos may not work. You can always upload an SRT, VTT, or TXT transcript you have the right to use. Videos are limited to 60 minutes and 15,000 words.
Will this work with my Kindle?
Yes. Download the EPUB, then upload it through Amazon Send to Kindle. For Kobo and other EPUB readers, import the file directly. Kindle does not open EPUB through a simple USB transfer.
Does Margin Reader rewrite the video?
No. We clean subtitle formatting and create numbered chapters, preserving the supplied words. The preview lets you edit errors before exporting. AI rewriting is not included in this release.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Buy a one-time credit pack when you need it. One credit creates one complete EPUB. Credits do not expire, and downloading the same export again during its seven-day availability is free.
What happens to my transcript?
Pasted and uploaded text stays in your browser during preview. When you request an export, it is sent to private Cloudflare storage for processing. Input files are deleted after processing. Exported books are available for seven days, or you can delete them earlier.
